2017 Color of the Year | Greenery

Runway Model 1

Introducing Pantone’s 2017 “Color of the Year” –  Greenery. This energetic shade symbolizes new beginnings; a time to reflect, revive, restore, and renew. When we say these words out loud they sound refreshing –  the color looks great in home décor and on a summer dress – but how do you incorporate this color into your jewelry?

For the best match to a Greenery shade, look for Peridot gems (although designers are using all shades of green this season to tie-in with the color of the year). Green hues look best when complemented with other spring pantone colors, such as Lapis Blue and Island Paradise (which resembles turquoise). Here are our Greenery-inspired items we love to help you stay on trend:

Armenta New World Green Moonstone Necklace

Lighten up your layers with Armenta’s Old World Green Moonstone bead necklace with Tahitian Pearl and .53ct diamonds. Try wearing this with your favorite smaller necklaces for the full layered look that’s currently on trend.

Lagos Caviar Icon Earrings

Shoulder duster earrings are a must have and they aren’t meant just for evening wear. Lagos introduced its Caviar Icon collection last fall; these playful swinging drops go from day to night. Try Peridot gemstone tassel drop earrings with 18k gold Caviar beading.

Adolfo Courrier Lunatica Peridot Ring

Rings have a major presence this year – from thin to wide widths, to diamonds and a pop of color. The Adolfo Courrier ring is bold and vibrant! This ring features 1.93ct peridot center stone, surrounded by 2.45ct pave peridot stones in 18K yellow gold.

Harmony Diamond Green Emeral Bangle

For a darker green hue, Emerald still holds strong in 2017. Blake Lively made a killer double-arm emerald cuff statement at the Golden Globe Awards. Try it in a more subtle look with Hyde Park’s Harmony Collection’s Pear Emerald and Diamond Bypass Bracelet in 18k white gold.

“There is a growing desire to reconnect with Nature and what is real. Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek in unity, community, one another and a larger purpose.” – Pantone’s Vice President of Color.
