A Valentine’s Day Surprise

There are so many reasons to give a gift to a loved one. Here’s a story of how one lucky lady was surprised on Valentine’s Day. She was sitting at her sewing machine on a cold and snowy February day. Her husband was at work and she was just happy she still had power. She heard a truck pull up and glanced out the window. She saw the FexEx person get out and head to her front door. It was around Valentine’s Day, so for a second her heart skipped a beat.

“Maybe, just maybe, he got me something special this year!” Then she rationalized that they’ve been married for so long and didn’t do Valentine’s Day gifts any more.

As she walked to the door to get the package, she starting thinking it was probably more sewing materials for the project she was working on. She signed for the package and opened it.
