Diamonds in the Rough, 2013

This year marked the 14th annual Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Classic, sponsored by Rolex and presented by Hyde Park.

Diamonds in the Rough is a non-profit foundation created by Hyde Park, Inc. to support local charities and individuals in their quest to become treasured gems. Treasured gems are those who are challenged and in need of support to attain brilliance not otherwise available to them.

The 2013 Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Classic included a dinner and live auction at Elway’s Steakhouse as well as a charity golf tournament and silent auction at the Cherry Creek Country Club. Proceeds from the events throughout the weekend went to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, Judi’s House and Youth Biz.

Golfers and celebrities alike competed for prizes donated by a variety of generous sponsors. The total amounts of donations are still being calculated, but it was a great turnout once again, and everyone had a great time.
