The Mother Land holds the seed of untamed beauty, and it is from this seed from which Marco Bicego’s Africa Collection sprang. Marco Bicego’s Africa Collection is imbued with its grandiosity and grace.

Drawing on the geography and stylistic tradition of the continent, the collection boasts bold 18-karat gold spheres on necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets; however, the necklaces, featuring golden spheres in four dimensions, serve as the focal point of the collection.   It is the gold texturing of the spheres that embolden this collection with striking beauty.   The textured imperfections on the matte gold surfaces are characteristic of the imperfections found in the tribal jewels of African women.   Gold texture and color bring forth the warmness of the continent and enrich the pieces with cultural sophistication.   Adaptations of this line feature pearls and colored stones such as quartz, tourmaline, lemon citrine, and amethyst.   Despite the size of the 18-karat gold spheres, the pieces are light weight and exceptionally comfortable to wear.
