Bell & Ross Radar Watch Limited Edition
On the Radar….
Welcome back, the end of 2010 was very busy for me and I hope everyone out there had a wonderful holiday season and 2011 is off to a great start!
Bell & Ross is one of our newest collections of fine timepieces at Hyde Park and has been a tremendous success so far. Bell & Ross is a more recently developed watch company (1992) that is known for their unique approach to make a watch designed after an airplane cockpit. Bell & Ross sets themselves apart from the competition with their very distinct square case shape and limited edition pieces.
Bell & Ross Radar
The latest and most highly sought after timepiece from Bell & Ross is the Radar. The Radar is produced in a VERY limited quantity of 500 pieces worldwide and is housed in their B01 46mm case. The watch is in stainless steel and finished in a black carbon coating to give the sleek, black look. The first thing one will notice when looking at this watch is that the standard analog or digital display has been changed to a clever circular radar display. There are 3 inner rotating discs that display the time with Green, Yellow, and Red “Radar Blips”. There is a crosshair patterned on the crystal to indicate the time.
To read the watch, each colored segment refers to a unit of time: Red indicates the hours, yellow the minutes, and the green represents the seconds. The dial and case are a matte black enhancing the contrast to provide the most legible and easy to read watch possible.
By combining the dial and hands of the watch onto a single plane, The Bell & Ross Radar provides watch aficionados a new way to view their timepieces. Bell & Ross has stepped outside the realm of “the norm” and hit a grand slam with the Bell & Ross BR-01 Radar watch.
This watch is currently available at Hyde Park’s Denver Location. (We will only have two Radar watches available for sale.)
